The purpose of our traineeship program is to contribute to the education of good professionals for the community. We want to give students the possibility of having a first working experience in a professional environment, participating in training courses with the rest of the professionals of the company and working with state-of-the-art technological tools. We believe that in this way we are providing for their future labor insertion and contributing to the development of those communities in which we operate.

Traineeships carried out in the countryside are focused on all the productive and operational aspects related to land management. Trainees are key actors in the daily performance of facilities and the information collected by them is used as a basis for the strategic decision-making process. As an added value, trainees participate in all the training programs organized by Adecoagro Technical Group (Grupo Técnico Adecoagro, GTA) and learn to work in a highly dynamic environment.

Apart from the traineeships developed in our facilities, we also have an External Traineeship Program. On the one hand, through agreements executed with the Purdue University and the University of Illinois (Urbana Champaign), we send some of our trainees to have a 3-month hands-on experience as assistants in the research labs of these universities. The selection is made every year among all the students who have participated in the program. On the other hand, we also receive students from abroad to take part in traineeships in our facilities.
